Sam is a director of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A., with a practice that focuses in corporate/commercial law including commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and representation of lending institutions, workouts, bankruptcies, and securities law.
Sam is a magna cum laude graduate of Kent State University and an honors graduate from the Ohio State University College of Law, where he served as a member of the Board of the Ohio State University Law Journal.
He is an active member of the Stark County Bar Association, serving on the Corporate, Bankruptcy and Real Estate Committees. He also is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association where he is on the Banking, Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Committee.
Sam is former Vice President and Director of the Canton Jaycees and was also the President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Community Center. He has served as Chairman of the Hall of Fame Festival Television Committee as well as a member of the Canton Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame Grand Parade Committee, and is on the State Legislative Committee for the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce.
He presently serves as legal counsel for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Canton, Inc., where he has been the Secretary and a member of the Board of Trustees Sam was a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Palace Theatre Association where he served as Secretary and legal counsel. Sam has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America ® 2008
