Dr. Sally Lee consults for Noel-Levitz from her position as associate vice president for student affairs at East Tennessee State University. She offers more than 26 years of experience in higher education. An expert in student retention, she has conducted extensive research in the areas of student needs identification, satisfaction, opinions, and experiences. At East Tennessee State, Dr. Lee currently manages a comprehensive retention program including the Retention Management System, the Freshman Success Program, and the Early Semester Progress Report. These programs help identify academically at-risk students to facilitate early intervention. Her present management responsibilities include disability services; student activities; orientation; adult programs and services; and the advisement, resources, and careers center.
She has made numerous presentations on student retention and other topics to various professional and faculty groups. She initiated the Preview ETSU program, a model for traditional-age freshman orientation and retention.
Associations and education: Dr. Lee is a member of the American Higher Education Association, National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, and the Southern Association of Student Affairs. She holds an Ed.D. from East Tennessee State University. |
