Sacha joined NovaGold as Human Resources Manager in May 2006 and was promoted to Vice President in June 2007. Her Human Resources background is well suited to NovaGold with a unique combination of experience in a head office environment and also managing construction start-up and operational aspects of Human Resources at a mine site. Prior to joining NovaGold Sacha worked for Placer Dome for over 7 years. Her most recent assignment was with Placer Dome Canada as the Human Resources Superintendent at Musselwhite Mine located north of Thunder Bay Ontario. In addition Sacha's construction and start-up experiences have taken her to such culturally diverse locations as South Deep Mine in South Africa North Mara Mine in Tanzania and Henty Mine in Tasmania. Sacha holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of British Columbia.
