Sabra Purtill is Managing Director of Investor Relations and Strategic Planning at Assured Guaranty Ltd. and Assured Guaranty Corp. Ms. Purtill joined Assured Guaranty in 2004 from ACE Limited, the former parent company of Assured Guaranty, where she was Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance.
Ms. Purtill has been involved with insurance and financial services capital markets for more than 18 years, initially as an investment banker covering the insurance and non-bank financial services industry at Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. and later Merrill Lynch & Co. She was a sell-side equity analyst following the financial guaranty, mortgage guaranty and life insurance industry for six years, initially at Conning & Co., an insurance boutique and later at ABN Amro.
Ms. Purtill received a B.A. with High Honors from the University of Virginia and an MA from Georgetown University. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Association for Insurance and Financial Analysts. She received her CFA charter in 1995.
