Ryan Schmelz is President of Riberian Enterprises, Inc. a management consultancy focused on information services and technology companies as well as litigation support and electronic data discovery (EDD) issues facing vendors, corporate law departments, and law firms. He is also presently serving as Vice President, Business Development, for WorkProducts, Inc., a startup EDD appliance vendor Ryan has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive and consultant in software and information, financial, and legal services. He was co-founder, managing partner, and CFO of Transition Partners, a consulting firm that addresses strategic, management, and operations issues in communications, IT, and business processes. Earlier in his career, Ryan served as Senior Vice President of information services provider Remote Computing Corporation; the IT executive in charge of Merrill Lynch’s Capital Markets Computer Services organization; Vice President of Systems Development at A.C. Nielsen; and lead Freddie Mac officer supporting the enterprise-wide business process reengineering initiative, Vision 21. Ryan serves as an advisor to San Juan Technologies and The Edcomm Group. He is a member of MIT Enterprise Forum, The Sedona Conference, the Society for Information Management, and the Health Technology Network. Ryan is also a performer in and Board member of Voce Chamber Singers, a highly-regarded Washington, DCarea vocal group. |
