Ryan Azlein joined the Firm in 2003, and became a partner of the firm in 2007. Ryan received his B.A., with Honors, from the University of San Diego in 1996 and his J.D. in 1999 from the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the California Bar. Ryan advises a wide range of both public and private clients, focusing on middle-market, emerging growth and development stage companies. Ryan s practice involves venture capital and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law and general corporate matters. Ryan has substantial experience managing a variety of business transactions, including numerous angel and venture capital financing transactions, private equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions in the public and private markets and public and private offerings by public companies. Ryan also counsels companies in connection with SEC reporting requirements and registrations, federal and state securities laws, corporate governance issues, joint ventures and strategic alliances, technology and licensing issues, employee incentive plans, executive employment agreements and commercial contracts.
