For over 20 years, Ruth Greenstein has held Senior Government and Executive positions in the Washington D.C. area. As Chief Operating Officer for IDA, an R&D corporation, Ms. Greenstein has negotiated multi-year R&D contracts totaling over $1 billion, restructured insurance portfolios, redesigned the pension program for tax and ERISA compliance and implemented a fully-networked computer environment.
Prior to joining IDA, Ms. Greenstein served as Vice President Finance and General Counsel for the Genex Corporation where she was responsible for a full range of corporate legal matters. As Vice President and Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer her major activities included two public and several private stock offerings, acquisitions of another corporation, negotiation of R&D and licensing agreements, major real estate transactions and formulation of corporate strategy for protection of intellectual property.
Currently Ms. Greenstein is a member of the Board of Directors for VSA, an affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is a member and participates on the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects for the American Red Cross and former Chair of the American Association of the Advancement of Science.
