Ms. Ruta M. Slepetys, Chief Operating Officer, DUCK FLATS Pharma, LLC, spent a great part of her career in the pharmaceutical industry, she was project leader in their global obesity program and in oncology. In addition, she also held the title Associate Director, Clinical Operations Resource Management, handling a department of 20 people (project managers, contract analysts, administrators), with over 500 active contracts and volume of $250 million annually. During her time with Schering-Plough, she also served as Submission Team Leader for Zetia (Joint Venture with Merck) and was an active team member from inception through evolution from monotherapy, to combination (Vytorin), to post-submission support. She progressed from support of team leader to assuming submission team leader role during the transition from monotherapy to combination. Ms. Slepetys' experience also includes preclinical development, veterinary product development, and pre-clinical laboratory animal safety toxicology, which she brought to her former post at Schering-Plough Animal Health, as Associate Manager, Worldwide Regulatory Affair. |
