Prior to joining O’Keefe & Associates, Mr. Long founded and served as president of Russell D. Long, CPA, P.C., a firm that specialized in small business consulting and tax planning. Utilizing his talents in assessing financial conditions of small businesses, he developed business plans for numerous start-ups and organized computer and accounting systems. He conceived and implemented exit strategies for shareholders of closely held companies to minimize estate and gift tax consequences.
