Russell Grant is Director of Mass Spectrometry for the center of Innovation. Dr. Grant has over 15 years experience in mass spectrometry testing, including pharmaceutical drug discovery and development as a technical director for Eli Lilly and senior scientist for GSK. Dr Grant has been integral in the development and commercialization of a number of state of the art instruments for major manufacturers, including ARIA transcend TX4 LC systems and API5000 mass spectrometers. Dr Grant has published in a wide variety of journals and regularly presents at international meetings such as the american society for mass spectrometry (ASMS), Pittcon and AACC. Dr Grant is intimately involved in multiple collaborations with academic groups and manufacturers to provide next generation mass spectrometric technologies and applications in diagnostic testing. Dr Grant received his Ph.D. in Chromatographic and Mass Spectrometric Techniques from Swansea University, Wales. |
