Mr. Morrissey is responsible for all legal aspects of the company's operations as well as assisting the CEO with corporate development, strategic planning and risk management. Since joining the company in 2000 Mr. Morrissey has managed the legal aspects of all sales efforts, vendor agreements, contract negotiations, property/equipment leases and capital expenditures. Mr. Morrissey also manages the company's Customer Support and Proposal Development teams. Mr. Morrissey also provides significant advice to the Executive Staff in matters related to strategic direction and general corporate affairs.
Prior to joining Lee Technologies, Mr. Morrissey worked as a transactional attorney with Shaw Pittman where his major focus was general corporate and corporate finance transactions, construction, real estate and complex commercial transactions. While at Shaw Pittman, Mr. Morrissey represented clients such as Rhodes Partners, LLC; AOL; Gannett; Boston Properties; The Washington Post; Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group; and Lee Technologies.
Mr. Morrissey has a bachelor's degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross and a law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. |
