Russell J. Chibe is an associate in the Products Liability and Mass Tort Practice Group. Russell has worked on state and federal complex litigation matters at both the trial and appellate phases. His experience includes ethylene oxide, latex glove, asbestos, and benzene products liability litigation. Russell also gained exposure to federal civil rights litigation through the firm’s pro bono practice.
Russell graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago in 2006, where he competed in Moot Court and served as the special sections editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. Russell also worked in Northwestern’s Center on Wrongful Convictions, where he helped draft a clemency petition on behalf of an Indiana Death Row inmate whose sentence was subsequently commuted.
Before law school, Russell received a bachelor's degree summa cum laude in meteorology from Valparaiso University in 2001 and a master's degree in atmospheric science from Colorado State University in 2003. An award-winning brewer, Russell sits on the Board of Directors of Homebrewer’s Pride of the South Side, a registered Illinois not-for-profit. |
