Royce S. Caldwell is retired former Vice Chairman of SBC Communications, Inc. (now AT&T Inc.). During his tenure with SBC, he served as chief operating officer and a member of the board of directors, as well as chairman and chief executive officer of Ameritech, Pacific Bell Corp., Southern New England Corp., and Prodigy Corp. Caldwell also served as president and chief executive officer of Southwestern Bell Corp.
Caldwell served in key leadership roles at one of the worlds largest and most successful telecommunications companies during an era of unprecedented industry change.
Currently he serves on the board of directors for Sabre Holdings, Cullen/Frost Bankers, S.A.DeC.V in Mexico City, and Abilene Christian University.
Caldwell received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Abilene Christian University.
