Mr. Doumani has been the founder, senior executive, and Director of numerous banks and financial institutions, including First Los Angeles Bank, First Interstate Bank of Hawaii (acquired by First Hawaiian Bank), HonFed Bank (acquired by Bank of America), World Trade Bank in Los Angeles (merged into Santa Monica Bank), Gateway Fund, Leader Technology, and the Xiamen International Bank (one of the first banking joint ventures in China). Additionally, Mr. Doumani has served as an Advisor, Director, and principal for biotech companies including Medpay and Agensys. He is a member of the UCLA Board of Governors and the UCLA Campaign Cabinet, in charge of raising $1.2 billion for the University. He currently also serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the UCLA California Nanosystems Institute, a $200MM research institute focusing on the development of bleeding edge nanotechnology. |
