Roy Bash is chair of the Construction Practice Group and has more than 35 years experience.
Mr. Bash is committed to leading his practice group to deliver value-oriented results to clients in the construction industry, whether at the beginning of project development or during a dispute-resolution process. He has significant experience in major litigation, helping to resolve disputes through negotation, litigation or aribtration. He serves as an aribitrator and mediator in construction disputes.
He has represented the interests of numerous constituents in the construction industry with an emphasis on those entities providing general contracting, CM, EPC or design-build responsibilities.
Mr. Bash also has extensive experience representing many architectural/engineering firms with design liability issues.

Mr. Bash has the following recent experiences with resolution of claims:
Summary judgment sustained on appeal providing recovery under ocean cargo policy for acceleration and inefficiency costs incurred to recover from schedule delays to power generation project.
Jury verdict in excess of $23 million on builder’s risk claim for inefficiency and out of sequence work costs.
Implemented creative alternative dispute resolution process that lead to settlement of multiple claims concerning significant claims against designer of sewer works treatment project.
Recovery for fraud on creditor cause of action to recover for prior jury verdict on unpaid extra work and loss of profits claim.
Resolved by negotiation and team work with numerous parties a potentially high-profile mold contaminated construction project without litigation.
Represented a building owner in protracted litigation that resulted in a verdict in excess of $4 million to recover for damages caused by design and construction errors. The trial judgment was sustained on appeal.
Successfully defended construction manager and design team in six-week jury trial.
Managed multi-state litigation involving 15 related construction projects resulting in favorable summary judgments or settlement in all matters.
Assisted EPC contractor for power plant project with resolution of significant force majeure claims for time extension and money recoveries.
Chair of Construction Industry Arbitration panel for multi-million dollar claims.
