Roy has worked in the Information Technology industry for over 40 years. His strengths lie in his general management capability to benefit clients from the deployment of IT solutions. His experience offers potential clients an unusual combination of technology, management, marketing and operational skills which can complement their business needs. Roy was appointed President and CEO by the TecPort Solutions (TSI) board of directors in December 2004. The business directive from the parent company, Yak-Tat Kwaan, was to create an aggressive IT Services business plan. The focus was to be on IT Management Consulting, and Systems Architecture Design and Development. Before coming to TecPort, Roy was a Regional Executive V.P. with a privately held IT consulting firm. His responsibilities included general management of all sales, marketing, financial and operational activities, a role similar to his current position at TSI. Under Roy’s leadership, his organization grew from a single office startup to a 450 person, $40 million enterprise with multiple locations. Roy previously held a variety of positions involving applications development, technical systems consulting, and operations management. Roy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Kutztown University and a Master of Science in Information Science from Lehigh University. |
