Ronald P. Jones is a partner in the firm. His primary legal focus is real estate law. He represents small to large homebuilders and general contractors and regularly negotiates and drafts contracts, and also forms corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, and limited liability corporations.
Ron earned his juris doctor degree from Boston University. Previously, he concurrently obtained one Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and another in Applied Mathematics from California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California. While at Cal Poly, he was a member and vice president of Kappa Mu Epsilon, a mathematics honor society. He then obtained a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, specializing in Nuclear Engineering, Power Plant Design and Thermodynamics. Prior to law school he also obtained an Enrolled Agent's Certificate from the Internal Revenue Service, and studied the Italian language in Perugia, Italy for approximately one and one-half years at the Universitá Per Stranieri.
In addition to his law practice, Ron is a part owner of a tax preparation office in Lemoore, California, managed by his wife, Mary Beth. He is a Director of the Building Industry Association of Tulare and Kings County, and is active in the Hanford Noon Rotary Club. He serves on Kings County's Economic Development Corporation's Real Estate Committee, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee, and participates in philanthropic events in Kings and Tulare Counties, California.J.D., Boston University
