Mr. Heksch's practice focuses on complex environmental matters including litigation. He counsels clients involved in disputes regarding all aspects of environmental law including matters pertaining to solid and hazardous waste, wetlands issues, water and air pollution, "brownfields" redevelopment, stormwater and cultural resource management, CAFRA permitting and site remediation.

Mr. Heksch joined the firm following a successful career in the public sector. During his thirty years with the State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Law, Mr. Heksch held several positions including Senior Deputy Attorney General in the Environmental Section of the Division of Law, Section Chief of Environmental Enforcement, and Section Chief of the Solid Waste Section. During his time with the Division of Law, Mr. Heksch was responsible for handling and supervising complex litigation in virtually all areas of environmental law. He has also lectured on administrative law and hazardous waste disposal for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
