Ronald O. Baukol is the retired executive vice president of international operations and member of the board of 3M. Prior to his international work at 3M he was in charge of the healthcare businesses. He holds a BS degree in chemical engineering from Iowa State University and an MS degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Besides serving on the Children’s board, Baukol is a trustee and vice chairman of the US Council for International Business; a board member of the Toro Company, a governor of the Iowa State University Foundation; a senior fellow of the Caux Round Table, an international network of principled business leaders working to promote a moral capitalism; and most recently joined the Ad Hoc Blue Ribbon Committee on Research and Development for the American Red Cross biomedical services.
Prior community involvement includes chair of blood services for the St. Paul chapter of the American Red Cross and chair of the St. Paul chapter of the American Red Cross. |
