Ronald M. Soskin
Profile : Ron Soskin, a partner and chair of the Tax Group, has been a member of the firm since 1983. Mr. Soskin's practice focuses on federal and state tax planning, including tax techniques for organizing new businesses, expansion of existing businesses, structuring acquisitions of businesses, and representation in federal and state tax disputes, including property tax matters. He has written and lectured extensively on federal and state taxation as well as other business issues. Mr. Soskin is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations.

Mr. Soskin has extensive experience writing and lecturing on tax and business issues, and has been featured in several seminars and publications. His articles have appeared in publications for the Indiana Department of Revenue, the National Business Institute, Hoosier Banker, the Indiana Builders Association, and the Venture Club of Indiana. He also is a frequent speaker and has lectured at conferences for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations, Indiana Hotel and Motel Association, Fifth Third Bank Legal Symposiums, Indiana Society of Association Executives, Indiana League of Savings Institutions, and the Indiana Manufacturers Association. Previously, Mr. Soskin was an associate professor for the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Member: Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations; Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation (served multiple terms on board of directors and as treasurer of Executive Committee, and has been chairperson of Dues, House and Finance Committees); Indiana Governor's Committee on the Revision of Mental Health Laws (1977 to 1980).
