Ronald (Ronny) M. Shoss is a partner in Mayer Brown’s real estate group. He has a widely diversified practice representing institutional owners of real estate throughout the United States and Mexico. Ronny has also established a national office and industrial leasing practice throughout the United States and has established knowledge in advising institutional clients conduction real estate transactions in Mexico. Representative clients include Verde Realty and KBS Realty Advisors.
Ronny has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2006, 2007) and has been named a "Texas Super Lawyer" (Texas Monthly Magazine 2005, 2006, 2007). Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 1993, Ronny spent three years with another large, international firm in Houston.
Notable Engagements:
Represented client in large land acquisitions and developments involving complex zoning, condemnation, access, detention and other related land development issues.
Represented client in a tri-party transaction for the acquisition of land, the development and construction of buildings and the lease back of 603,586 sq.ft. to the tenant in Boone County, Kentucky.
Represented client in a 110,480 sq.ft. triple net 10 year lease for an entire Class A office building in Houston, Texas.
Represented client in a US$93,000,000 loan to 10 Mexican borrowers secured by 12 properties located in Juarez, Reynosa and Tijuana, Mexico.
