Mr. Kuehn is currently the Chairman of the El Paso Board. Mr. Kuehn was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from March 2003 to September 2003. From September 2002 to March 2003, Mr. Kuehn was a Lead Director of El Paso. From January 2001 to March 2003, he was a business consultant. Mr. Kuehn served as non-executive Chairman of the Board of El Paso from October 25, 1999 to December 31, 2000. Mr. Kuehn served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sonat from June 1984 until his retirement on October 25, 1999. He was Chairman of the Board of Sonat. from April 1986 until his retirement. He is a director of Regions Financial Corporation, Praxair, Inc. and The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.
