Ron primarily focuses on facilitating mergers and acquisitions for publicly and privately-held clients. He includes general corporate, partnerships/LLC and tax law in his practice and represents clients in corporate finance matters, corporate restructurings, partnerships and joint venture investments. Frequently involved in client seminars and workshops, Ron also serves on the board of directors of numerous privately-held corporations and on the advisory board of one of the region’s largest and most active private equity funds. Ron’s current charitable activities include his alma mater, The College of Wooster, the board of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Cleveland, and serving as a trustee of The Church of the Covenant, chair of its Special Gifts and Endowment Giving Committee, and chair of the church’s Investment and Audit Committee. Ron began his tenure with Calfee in 1969, becoming a partner in 1975. He previously served as a member of the firm’s executive committee. |
