Ronald G. White brings more than 30 years of experience in higher education to campus clients. He offers extensive expertise in enrollment management, strategic planning, financial aid and revenue management, and campus marketing and branding.
Currently, Dr. White serves as vice president for enrollment management at Columbia College (SC). He supervises the college’s traditional student enrollment, nontraditional evening programs, graduate admissions, financial aid, public relations, and intercollegiate athletics. His restructuring of the enrollment management division and strategic planning helped Columbia College increase new freshman enrollment by 14 percent since 2002, while simultaneously raising admissions standards. During this period of growth, the college experienced a $2.2 million increase in net revenue.
Previously, Dr. White served at Emmanuel College (GA) for 22 years, most recently as dean of enrollment management. His team increased student enrollment by 42 percent over a ten-year period. As dean he supervised admissions, financial aid, student retention, and institutional research.
Associations and education: Dr. White is a member of the American and the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the National Association for College Admissions Counseling, and several other organizations.
