Ronald E. Gordon's insolvency practice includes the representation of banks and other financial institutions, businesses in financial difficulty, trustees, creditors and creditors committees. His clients have included Bankers Trust Company, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Marine Midland Bank, Societe Generale and Bank of America. Mr. Gordon is a member of the Business Bankruptcy Committee of the American Bar Association. He has served as director of the Financial Lawyers' Conference of Southern California and member of the Bankruptcy Committee, Ninth Circuit Judicial Council, and the Executive Committee, Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is a lecturer for California Continuing Education of the Bar and other associations on bankruptcy matters. Active in civic and political affairs, Mr. Gordon is a member of the World Affairs Council, Town Hall and a director of Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles. He is a former director of the City of Hope Business and Professional Section, and former member of the board of the California State University Foundation, and the Advisory Board of the California Academy of Mathematics and Science High School. A graduate of the University of Washington, Mr. Gordon earned an LL.B. at University of California at Berkeley. |
