Ron Rhoades serves as Executive Vice President, Business Development and focuses on developing strategic investment opportunities for Island Global yachting. Previously, Mr. Rhoades was a managing director and one of the founders of both Sun Resorts International and Sun Resorts Management ("Sun"). His responsibilities at Sun included all financial and operational activities for the Companies and its subsidiaries. Mr. Rhoades was also one of the founders of Harvard Property Trust, a private Real Estate Investment Trust formed in 1996 where he served as both CFO and Chief Operations Officer and on the Board of Directors. He supervised all operations and directed all the financial activities for the Company and its sponsored investments and had primary responsibility for the placement of loans, including bank debt, syndicated lines of credit, and securitized loans. Additionally he had primary responsibility for the placement of private and institutional equity into the Company. From 1987 until joining Harvard Property Trust, L.P., he operated his own independent accounting and financial consulting firm. Prior to this, he served as Vice President Operations of three restaurant companies. |
