Mr. Kupferman brings more than 30 years of information technology experience to Global Software, Inc. He began his career in the information technology industry with NCR Corporation after serving his country in the United States Marine Corps and in 1972 formed his own software products business. Kupferman founded Global Software in 1981 and through acquisition and internal growth helped it grow into a premier supplier of financial applications and financial data analytics for the commercial market. Under Kupferman's leadership, Global Software spun off four businesses and acquired 6 others, including two major transactions involving Storage Technology Corporation and the Hathaway Corporation. These transactions provided shareholders with excellent returns on their investment and placed Global Software in a dominant market position in the commercial marketplace. In addition, to his duties at Global, Mr. Kupferman serves as chairman and CEO of Mediclick® , Inc. which provides comprehensive, next-generation, materials management and financial applications designed for the unique supply-chain needs of both individual acute care facilities and large, complex IDN’s. Mr. Kupferman also serves as the chairman of Peopleclick, Inc. which provides enterprise-class workforce management solutions. Mr. Kupferman holds a BA in accounting from the University of Rhode Island. |
