Ron led the LBO of GoodMark Foods from General Mills in 1982. He took GoodMark Foods public (NASDAQ) in 1985. After the sale of GoodMark Foods to ConAgra Foods in 1998, Ron retired as Chairman/CEO in 1999. Ron is active in NACD affairs, serves as Executive in Residence at N.C. State University's College of Management, and currently serves on the boards of several companies and hospitals in the Raleigh area. |
