Ron Carter brings 26 years of financial services experience to his role as Rutherford/Bedford County client services manager.
Carter was most recently the retail banking executive for Regions Bank, overseeing 64 locations. He spent 13 years at First American National Bank, where he was most recently regional executive for community banking. He had responsibility for Rutherford County operations at each of these banks.
An active community member, Carter serves on the board of directors of Bethany Christian Services Inc. and the World Mission Committee at Covenant Presbyterian Church. He is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and the YMCA. He has previously held leadership roles with United Way, the American Heart Association and Rotary Club.
Ron obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Covenant College in 1980 and graduated from the Stonier's Graduate School of Banking in 1988. He has also completed courses in Commercial Lending and Advance Commercial Lending from the Darden Business School and the University of Virginia.
