Dr. Rolf Dahlems has an engineering degree in mechanical construction and a Phd in business.

Following his career start in strategic business consulting he gained several years management experience in the Rheinmetall Industry Group. He has been a Executive Search Consultant since 1984. His first 5 years were with Heidrick & Struggles International, Düssseldorf as partner and director, manager of the Düsseldorf office and coordinator Germany.

He has been Managing Partner at Signium International (formerly Ward Howell International) since beginning of 1990.

His clients include renowned domestic and international companies as well as a high proportion of Scandinavian firms in recent years.

His primary focus is on top and second level management. A further area of specialisation is Management Audits (RISK MANAGEMENT FÜHRUNGSKRÄFTE RMF®). Dr. Dahlems also worked for several years as Vice President in the European body of Executive Search Consultants. His publications include:
