Roland Ramirez enters his first season as an Athletic Trainer with the Falcons. Ramirez played football at Texas Tech University from 1998-99. He earned a dual masters degree in physical therapy and athletic training from the Texas Tech University in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
Ramirez served as a student athletic trainer for school's baseball and football teams, while completing his athletic training degree and working as a physical therapist in a sports medicine clinic. Ramirez then entered the ranks of the NFL as a contract Athletic Trainer for the Tennessee Titans during the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
Ramirez holds a certification as strength and conditioning specialist and is a member of the NATA, APTA, NSCA, and PFATS.
He and his wife, Misty, a physical therapist/athletic trainer, and their son, Kade, live in Flowery Branch, Georgia. |
