Roland Hlawaty became a partner in the Global Corporate Department of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in 1998, specializing in merger and acquisition transactions. Previously he was an associate with the Firm since 1990.
Mr. Hlawaty has represented public and private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other significant corporate transactions. His experience includes domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, venture capital investments, hostile contests for corporate control, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. Mr. Hlawaty's practice also includes advising companies with respect to takeover defenses and other general corporate advice.
Mr. Hlawaty received his B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University in 1987 and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1990, where he graduated cum laude. |
