Roland Estevez, a member of the Global Project Finance Group, is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Mr. Estevez joined Milbank's New York office in 2003.
Mr. Estevez's recent experience includes representation of the lender group in the $800 Million Schahin Oil Rig Project in Brazil, Marubeni Corporation in connection with the $3.5 billion Western Energy Development and Anaco Projects in Venezuela, representation of CVRD and CVRD International in connection with a $6 billion CVRD Export Prepayment Facility, representation of Mitsubishi and Marubeni in the development and financing of the $910 million Petrobras' PDET oil transport project, representation of Citibank in the $250 million loan facility to ISAGEN/Power Finance Trust Limited and representation of Ferrosur, a Mexican railroad company and an affiliate of Grupo Mexico, in a $170 million financing arranged by Citibank and BBVA. Current representations include a variety of lenders and sponsors in their development and financing efforts in Latin America and the US.
Mr. Estevez speaks fluent Spanish. He received a business degree in Economics from the University of South Florida and a law degree from the Hofstra University School of Law where he was a member of the Hofstra Law Review. |
