Dr. Tung is the president and CEO of Concert Pharmaceuticals. He has more than 20 years of experience in scientific and scientific management positions at the Squibb Institute for Medical Research, Merck Research Laboratories and Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated. Prior to joining Concert, he served as vice president, drug discovery, for Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He discovered two of Vertex’s currently marketed products and is an inventor on multiple issued U.S. patents. Dr. Tung received his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
