Roger has over thirty years of financial experience with high technology companies that ranged from start-ups to large corporations like Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard. Roger has most recently been working as a consultant with early stage start-ups in assisting them with fund raising, business plans, operating infrastructure and CFO functions. Prior to consulting, Roger was the Chief Financial Officer with Foglight Software (acquired by Quest Software), a start-up developer of system performance monitoring software, where he was responsible for securing $5 million in funding from venture capital investors and $3 million in leaseline financing. Roger was also responsible for all the companies financial, tax, risk human resources, administration and facilities management. Under his financial guidance, the company grew from zero revenue to more than $50 million in annualized revenue. Roger was instrumental in completing a complete back office system encompassing financial, budgeting and forecasting for Foglight. Prior to Foglight, Roger was the Chief Financial Officer for Compact Devices, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of network appliances. He has extensive experience in managing all aspects of corporate financing including participating in several IPO’s and acquisitions. Roger holds a BS in Business Administration/Management Accounting from San Jose State University. |
