Roger Nichol is Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at IPWireless and has been with the company since its inception in 1999. Roger is responsible for the hardware development of the company's UMTS TD-CDMA network access devices and Node B base-stations. This includes digital and RF circuit design, ASIC and FPGA development, mechanical design, manufacturing testing, and product introduction to manufacturing. Prior to joining IPWireless, Roger had over 20 years of lead engineering roles at Lucent Technologies, Orbitel Mobile Communications and Cray Communications among others. Roger holds a bachelor of science in Electronic Engineering from the University of Natal, Durban South Africa.
