Roger is Vice President of Client Management Services for Merkle. In this role, Roger works closely with clients in the areas of campaign strategy and creative development, database audience selection, results analysis and long-range strategic planning. He has worked to develop mid-level donor programs, special event participant retention programs and other donor and membership fundraising programs. He has extensive experience in the health care marketplace through his current or past work with American Cancer Society, Arthritis Foundation, American Diabetes Association, and Muscular Dystrophy Association. Roger brings to the position more than 23 years of successful database marketing and agency experience in both the fundraising and commercial markets, where he gained an extensive background in database marketing, modeling, e-mail marketing and strategic planning.
Prior to joining Merkle in 2003, Roger worked for 7 years with Wiland Services, 11 years with Saturn Corporation, and 3 years with dot-com start-up Shop2u/Exmplar.
Roger is active in the DMA Nonprofit Federation and currently is serving on the planning committees for the February 2006 Washington Conference, the June 2006 Leadership Conference and the August 2006 New York Conference. In addition, he is a frequent speaker and session moderator for fundraising educational events. |
