A senior member of TANDBERG Television's management team, Roger Bolton heads the company's compression business unit as it continues to lead the global video encoding market. Roger oversees the development and performance of the company's compression technology and solutions to ensure that it is able to meet the content delivery requirements of broadcasters and network operators around the world. He manages key functions within TANDBERG Television including engineering, R&D and product management, and works closely with the business development and sales and marketing organizations around the world. During the past 6 years with TANDBERG Television, most recently as the VP Business Development EMEA & APAC, Roger was responsible for international business development, as well as the strategic growth of the company's key business segments - satellite, telco and terrestrial.Prior to joining TANDBERG Television, Roger managed the Internet business solutions division of APW. He also spent several years in a number of sales and marketing roles at De La Rue. Roger has a BA in Electronics and Computing and also an MBA. |
