Roger Bertman has a career spanning 40 years in a variety of positions and companies primarily focused on communications and ecommerce technologies. As Vice President of Marketing at VeriFone, he started the Internet Commerce Division in 1995 which resulted in the company's acquisition by Hewlett Packard in 1998. While at VeriFone, Roger also held positions as Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President / General Manager of Network Systems. Prior to joining VeriFone, Roger was Vice President of Marketing for Ungermann-Bass and ROLM Corporation, both communications hardware and software firms. He also worked at AT&T and Bell Laboratories, where he held a variety of management positions. Roger holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Portland State University |
