Roger M. King is Chief Executive Officer of CBS Television Distribution. King oversees all operations of the company which combines the assets of syndication leaders King World Productions, CBS Paramount Domestic Television, CBS Paramount International Television and CBS Consumer Products. He is recognized as one of the television distribution industry's most successful, groundbreaking executives, having brought such personalities as Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Phil, Alex Trebek, Pat Sajak and Vanna White to national attention.
Before the September 2006 merger of King World Productions and CBS Paramount Domestic Television, King served as Chief Executive Officer of CBS Enterprises and King World Productions, since January 2000. He assumed this position following the merger of his company, King World Productions, with CBS, and the subsequent restructuring of the CBS Enterprises Division, which combined both organizations' global programming and distribution activities. King oversaw all CBS Enterprises operations, as well as the sales activities of King World Productions, the domestic syndication arm. |
