Roger Talish, a founder of Juvent, is Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Talish is the former Vice President of Engineering for Exogen products at Smith & Nephew, Inc. Mr. Talish was also a founder of Exogen and Vice President in charge of operations for the company. With over 24 years experience in the medical device field, Mr. Talish has been involved with low-intensity ultrasound technology since its inception in 1985, and has directed the design, development, field trials, production and quality control of the sonic accelerated fracture healing system (SAFHS®) device. Mr. Talish's responsibilities also included the development of the current Juvent DMT medical device, both the clinical and the commercial model. From 1977 to 1985, Mr. Talish held various engineering management positions at Electro Biology, Inc., including Director of Product Engineering. Mr. Talish holds 32 patents, 27 of which are in the medical device field and 21 encompass the Exogen ultrasound technology. Mr. Talish holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and has pursued graduate studies in Electrical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. |
