Roger Longo, the Principal of the Firm, has over twenty years experience in human resources and industrial engineering. He established Longo Associates, over fifteen years ago, to provide clients with a flexible and cost effective approach to Human Resources with an emphasis on organization, compensation and recruitment.
Mr. Longo’s experience and educational background in human resources and industrial engineering have provided a foundation to address organizational and compensation issues. His early experience as an executive search consultant provided him with a comprehensive background in recruitment that has proven valuable to both mature and start up organizations. Over the years, Mr. Longo’s client experience has encompassed: publicly held companies, high tech start ups, telecommunication service providers, public utilities, commercial real estate, and non profit organizations. He serves both domestic and international clients and has been involved in establishing U.S. entities for off shore clients.
Mr. Longo's prior affiliations include Coopers & Lybrand; KPMG; and, Procter and Gamble. At Coopers & Lybrand, he was the Director of Human Resource Consulting with emphasis in executive compensation for the Houston practice and was transferred to San Francisco in a similar role in 1985. Mr. Longo began his consulting career at KPMG and specialized in providing executive search, compensation, and industrial engineering consulting services. He became the practice leader in these consulting disciplines for the Southwest region.
Prior to joining KPMG, Mr. Longo was the Employee Relations Manager for Procter and Gamble in Dallas. His primary responsibilities were recruitment and compensation.
