Roger A. Stong is an experienced business lawyer, whose practice focuses on corporate, securities and bankruptcy reorganization law. Mr. Stong has represented clients in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings and other general corporate matters and has represented private and public companies in bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy liquidations and reorganizations, with particular emphasis on bankruptcy-related acquisitions and dispositions, debtor-in-possession financings and plans of reorganization. While he has heavy experience representing agricultural businesses and apparel and grocery retailers, Mr. Stong has also represented distributors, educational institutions, financial institutions, hospitals and other healthcare companies, Internet service providers, manufacturers, oil and gas companies and telecommunications companies. Mr. Stong currently serves as the outside general counsel to a privately-held agricultural chemical and specialty chemical distribution business and its affiliates. In that capacity, he provides legal advice on all legal matters, ranging from distribution, licensing and other contracts, employment matters, loan matters and real estate matters to acquisitions, joint ventures and private offerings.
