Rod Wolford has more than 35 years of wide-ranging experience in the healthcare industry, serving in leadership roles for healthcare providers, suppliers, consulting organizations and associations. Mr. Wolford most recently served as Chairman and CEO of ForHealth Technologies, a venture-backed startup based in Daytona Beach, Florida. Prior to joining ForHealth, he was Chairman and CEO of Sterling Diagnostic Imaging, a worldwide manufacturer of X-ray film and imaging systems. Over his career, he has served as CEO of three major hospital systems: Legacy Healthcare System in Portland, Oregon; Norton Healthcare System in Louisville, Kentucky; and California Healthcare System in San Francisco, California. Mr. Wolford has served on numerous Boards of Directors of both corporations and professional associations. He currently serves as a Director on the Boards of Essent Healthcare in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Institute of Safe Medication Practices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Most recently he served as Chairman of the Board of ProVation Medical and as a Director of Image Guided Neurologics. He was a Founding Member of American Healthcare Systems, served as Chairman of the Healthcare Forum and is a former Director of Bellarmine College in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a frequent lecturer and author of numerous articles on healthcare issues. Mr. Wolford, a certified public accountant, received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and a master's in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh. |
