Rod was appointed to the position of vice president and general manager, Global Commercial Industry, Asia Pacific. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Rod reports functionally to Tom Elliott and geographically to Ron Frankenfield.
Rod has 20 years of experience in systems development, financial services, SAP, enterprise resource planning, e-commerce, e-supply chain services and the delivery of major projects at various key commercial centers in the Asia Pacific market both in developing new business and in the delivery of large programs. He joins Unisys from Deloitte Consulting, where he was the lead partner for the Asia Pacific outsourcing practice. During his career there, he won and delivered engagements with a number of major multinational organizations across the region, covering a wide range of solutions, with the lead responsibility for identification, qualification and deal formation on systems integration and business process outsourcing opportunities.
Rod's career at Deloitte Consulting also included financial services partner for Australia/New Zealand and practice leader of the specialist SAP implementation arm of Deloitte Consulting. Previously, Rod was consulting practice leader with Oracle, where he was responsible for customer development; generation of new business; core and advanced technologies; applications implementation; delivery of consulting and management advisory services, including business process re-engineering and strategic planning. |
