Robin has worked at AARP for seventeen years in several leadership capacities. As Executive Director for the AARP Foundation, she provides leadership across the Foundation areas of development, litigation, and programs. She previously served as Interim Associate Executive Director for State and National Initiatives, overseeing AARP’s advocacy, community service, and state activities. She created the successful State Support department and has been a leader for member education in the areas of economic security, employment, and consumer issues.
Prior to joining AARP, she was an attorney with Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, specializing in consumer law. Shehas a B.A. from the University of North Carolina, J.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and is a volunteer mediator with the D.C. Superior Court. Robin has been a speaker at numerous professional conferences and authored articles on topics ranging from dispute resolution to consumer rights to insurance issues for older persons. |
