Robin Mickle is the President of Kratos Government Solutions, Inc. He oversees the Company’s government related activities in the areas of C4ISR, engineering and IT services, range and target services, and weapon systems lifecycle services for DoD and Federal agencies including the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force, DLA, DISA, DCMA, DoE, and NASA. Mr. Mickle and his team oversee critical contract engagements including engineering services support to NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, JIATF, HSD, and related field activities.
From 1984 through 2004, Mr. Mickle held various leadership roles within Northrop Grumman and predecessor companies. From 1996 to 2004, he was the Vice President of the Fleet Systems Engineering business unit. The FSE organization provided engineering, logistics, information technology, and test and evaluation support to NAVSEA, NSWC, NAVSEA Port Hueneme, NAVSEA Philadelphia, CDSA Dam Neck, Coast Guard Headquarters, OPTEVFOR, and other fleet commands. Mr. Mickle led FSE’s involvement in major ship procurements such as the Coast Guard Integrated Deepwater System and DDX.
Mr. Mickle was an active duty surface line officer for 6 years, including a tour as a combat systems instructor. He completed his Naval Reserve career as a Captain with the subspecialty of coastal warfare and harbor defense. He joined Advanced Technology Inc. (which later merged with PRC, Litton, and Northrop Grumman) in 1984 as a combat systems integration test engineer.
Mr. Mickle has a Masters in Business Administration from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Analysis from the United States Naval Academy. He lives with his wife MJ in Coronado, California.
