EXPERIENCE

Robin Baun has almost 20 years of experience in staffing administrative and operations professionals at all levels. Specializing in the local SE Michigan marketplace, she believes in a personal approach and solution-based recruiting in order to give her clients the best service for their hiring needs. Whether it be contract, contingent search, project-based or retained, Robin strives to learn about the companies she works with in order to provide superior customer service, and to develop long-term, mutally beneficial relationships. Committed to the growth of her clients, she works to source and deliver the highest quality candidates in the marketplace to add value to the companies they work for.

In addition to her responsibilities at Variant Partners, she also serves on the board of directors of several area companies.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND

Prior to joining Variant Partners in 1989, Robin had a successful career in customer service management for a publishing firm. In 1991, she was promoted to Supervisor of the OM5 division, and then to Manager.

In 1994, she attained Certified Senior Account Manager status, taking an examination that tests business law and ethics. In 1998, she was inducted into the MRINetwork? Hall of Fame for career achievement. The OM5 team has been Office of the Year in their category in 2000, 2002 and 2003, and Best of Class National Finalist Award in 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2003. This has included the Regional Rookie of the Year in 1997 and the National Rookie of the Year in 2000. Robin has also been awarded the Regional Manager of the Year in 1999, 2000, and 2003.
