Robin Aaronson has been a Director at LECG Ltd since 1998, based in London office. He is an expert in competition policy/anti-trust. Prior to LECG he was Senior Economic Adviser to the Monopolies & Mergers Commission (MMC), and partner in charge of competition policy services at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC). He has an MSc from the London School of Economics.
Over the last twelve years, Robin has been involved in over 40 MMC investigations, as well as several cases before the European Commission and other authorities. He has appeared as an expert witness in several high-profile court cases and has led five World Bank and European Commission missions to Russia and the former Soviet Union, giving policy advice on the development of competition in those economies. He has also served as an economic adviser to the UK Treasury and is now a member of the Postal Services Commission, the regulatory body for posts in the UK. His recent publications include "The Future of UK Competition Policy" (IPPR, 1996) and "Competition and Regulation - Harmony or Conflict?" (Gas Consumers Council, 1998). |
