Robin L. Zimmerly is an associate in the Trial Department of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in Washington D.C. Robin has experience advising clients in contractual disputes, environmental tort litigation, breach of warranty claims, and various business torts including negligence, civil conspiracy, federal and state RICO, breach of fiduciary duty, professional malpractice, and fraud.

Counseling a North-Carolina-based private security contractor in litigation arising from the application and interpretation of the Defense Base Act
Assisting in the defense of a top pharmaceutical company against allegations of an anticompetitive tying arrangement and pricing scheme under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act
Counseling a Panamanian company in contract disputes with the United States Department of State
Advising a mid-Atlantic healthcare client on internal investigations and compliance with the Virginia Ethics & Fairness in Carrier Business Practices Act and other applicable state laws and federal regulations
Representing a multinational agricultural & construction equipment business in arbitration hearings before the London Court of International Arbitration
Assisting a discount travel and emergency road service company in prosecuting trademark and copyright infringement, dilution and cyber-squatting claims
Counseling one of the nation's largest architectural and structural precaster companies in breach of warranty and product liability claims
While a student at the University of Virginia School of Law, Robin received the Mortimer Caplin Public Service Center recognition for her contributions to public service. Robin remains committed to the community as a member of the metro-Bethesda-Rotary Club, one of the largest service organizations in the world, and through her pro bono work.
